the gallery is up. i'm still learning the art of cropping so please bear with me. it's been about a month since i started photography lessons, and i don't know if i've progressed, but i'm having a lot of fun. like maybe too much fun. the wallet's emptying at an alarming rate. no big deal for the salary man, but for unemployed fools like me it's either develop the roll or eat. a difficult choice sometimes, but i go with my gut (so to speak). we're still looking for subjects to practice portraiture on. think you got what it takes? send an e-mail our way...

i have the best friends, period. lan and bernice, Official C.A.G's, braved 90-plus weather making our garage sale a runaway success. okay, honestly, business was a little poky, but that wasn't really the point. sometimes it's nice to just kick it in your garage, drinking beer with your friends, talking away. it was a great saturday. the trick was skin and smiles. the more of either you showed, the more green flowed. ed made and appearance (woo woo), and made $11.25!! how?? all your stuff was like a ludicrously low 50 cents an item! hot as it was, a visit from bleak and chi-hui was definitely cool. some more highlights:

- obese, ripe-smelling russian returning a $9 VCR. "is not work, this VCR. my money you give back please now."
- chi-hui asking why lan's jacket she was selling was so baggy. "it's room for boobs," came a voice from the garage. we all nodded. chi-hui took the jacket off.
- discovering jason passed out from heat exhaustion in my dad's car. "dude, it is so hot."
- our first (and best) customer asking where were the "cute asian girls" (even before getting out of the car...or parking it for that matter).
- jason: "bondage fairies? what's that?"
- ed: "bondage fairies? can i have this??"

the world is so small sometimes...
